Membership Application for the
Western Kentucky Coal Association

On Behalf of the Western Kentucky Coal Association (“WKCA”) producers and associates, we invite you to become a member of our organization. The WKCA is a trade organization in western Kentucky that represents the coal industry’s major issues and concerns of common interest.

Some of the goals of the WKCA are:

  • Promoting western Kentucky and its coal marketplace.

  • Achieving a regulatory program that is realistic and healthy, which will improve the utilization and development of western Kentucky coal.

  • Serve as the Western Kentucky coal industry’s voice and liaison with the Kentucky general Assembly, the Congress, the state and federal regulatory agencies.

  • Bring awareness to the public of the importance of the coal and the role it plays in this nation’s Energy future.

Your participation and financial support of these efforts and goals will be beneficial to the Western Kentucky coal industry, as well as your own. As an Associate Member, your support will greatly facilitate the continued effectiveness of these goals, especially in Western Kentucky.

Dues for Associate Members are based on business size and on involvement in the coal industry.

The Board of Directors will determine what dues level will apply to each business.
The dues are payable quarterly, and range from $31.25 to $1250 per quarter for members.

Please complete the application and fax it to the following number 270-825-8187.

Should you have any questions, please call Kim Nelson, Executive Director or Bradley Baldwin Office Manager, at 270-825-8311.
